Turmeric + Ginger Super-Charged OJ
Liquid sunshine in a glass, this glorious breakfast juice is packed with immune boosting citrus fruits, turmeric and ginger.
Ingredients (serves 2 adults and 2 children)
2 oranges (peeled)
1 lemon (peeled)
Large thumb fresh ginger (about 1/4 cup), peeled
Large thumb fresh turmeric (about 1/4 cup), peeled
2 cups filtered water
Pinch cayenne pepper
Pinch black pepper
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender (I use a Vitamix). Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve over a large jug or bowl. Pour into glasses and serve.
